Adventures in Programming

This course introduces students to coding languages through scaffolded lessons in several different engines. Scratch allows students to learn the basics of programming using blocks of code. Then students will level up to the CodeREV Gym, which utilizes drag-n-drop blocks like Scratch, but also offers a toggle button that translates those blocks into simple Coffeescript. Towards the end of the course, our young coders work only with text-based code as they program with fun, game-based lessons in Python.
