Daily Schedule*
Our rigorous hiring and training process ensures that our staff is second to none. Each CodeREV Mentor has between 2-14 years experience teaching technology to kids, and has at least 1 year of work experience in the tech sector. Our instructors have worked at places such as Google, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Sony, Sega, Riot Games, and more! To our instructors, being a CodeREV Mentor is not just a summer job, it’s an opportunity to share their expertise in a mentorship role that they themselves usually never had. This means that our mentors take their roles to heart, and it truly shows. Many campers have their favorites, which vary from class to class.
In all of our classes, campers get to take home their creations to show off to friends and family and to continue working on at home. We share files with you - the parents - on a google drive through your email. We also provide specific instructions on how to download the programs needed to continue work on the projects your child takes home. If you have trouble with an install or opening any files, just call and we will walk you through the process.
Our curriculum is incredibly fun AND educational, focusing on strengthening STEM. It is even supported by educational specialists out of the Harvard Graduate School of Education and MIT Media Lab. We take great pride in hearing from others that we are the most educational tech camp out there. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean that we don’t allow fun at our camps. Our project-based learning model allows students to have a blast as they create their own unique projects using code, robotics, or digital art!
Unlike in a school model, we prefer to keep the number of campers to each instructor very low – this allows us to individualize the learning campers receive so that each camper can reach his or her full technology potential in every class. We want every camper to leave with every question answered having created an amazing project that he or she is thrilled to show off to friends and family.
We understand that safety is of paramount concern. We hold our camps at schools, so you know your kids are at safe and secure locations. We also issue fingerprint scan background checks for all our staff, so you can rest assured that our instructors are safe with your kids. Finally, multiple instructors at each location have been CPR certified.
In addition to the fun and education students enjoy as they create with technology, we also offer a plethora of really fun and unique outdoor activities that strengthen team-building and allow students to run and play. We have 4 break times with fun, off-computer activities throughout each camp day.
While camps at many universities will cost around $1000 per week, our tech camps are reasonably priced so that your kid can receive an equally awesome experience, but at nearly HALF the cost! Check out our class options for pricing.
Unlike other camps that share devices, we make sure each camper has his or her very own computer to work on.

begin exploring coding fundamentals by
making games and animations using block
based coding in softwares such as
Pencilcode, Scratch, Kodu and more. No

circuits, robotics, and code! This class

incredible for the hands-on tinkerers

- as students use block code to code

virtual or real Arduinos and bots
through
challenges and as they wire and code
their
Arduinos to control motors, lights,
sensors
and more! students are also led through

Can you say win win?! MathCraft is the class where both parents and students truly win as parents get to watch their students thrilled to do math! This class is a must for any parents who want their kids to enjoy math more and learn math more deeply. Students actually build math problems inside the game of Minecraft, and solve them using our one-of-a-kind, amazing MathCraft program. CodeREV is currently training teachers across America in this program, and even presenting this ground breaking class at conferences such as the renowned ISTE EdTech conference this fall! In this amazing class, students unleash their inner app development skills as they progress through the app development process in a fun, easy to code format. Students plan, design, and create their own apps that can then be run on the web, and can even be published on android phones and tablets.

Enter the world of Game Design, where students build amazing games. Students create multi-level games and learn to use programming concepts such as local and global variables, and the basics of object-oriented programming. Let your child unleash her inner Da Vinci or Michelangelo, with this amazing class. Students learn to build 3D models of whatever they can imagine, and then perfect them using Blender's intuitive and easy to download software!! Campers explore the world of Arduino circuits, robotics, and code! This class is incredible for the hands-on tinkerers and engineers of tomorrow who love to figure out how things work build either virtual or live robotics projects. We also focus on the code - as campers code their virtual or real Arduinos and bots through challenges and as they wire and code their Arduinos to control motors, lights, sensors and more! Option to use a fun and powerful virtual simulator for Arduino circuits and coding.

Students create their own unique websites from the ground up, using html, CSS, and JavaScript. They can design their website about whatever interests them: a hobby, a business, a social impact cause, or their friends and family. Point is, they learn to code something useful and interesting and have fun in the process. They also gain the skills of learning to think like a developer as they design and plan their site based on user interaction. They even get to host their site using a CMS at the end of the class, and can take their site home to continue working on it on their own, and show off to friends and family!

Game Lovers and Creators Unite with Unity 3D! Unity is our most advanced camp at CodeREV, through which students learn to control and create apps and games with this pro software.
